Papaya Ice Cream Patch

Ingredients:

-caramel
-Rum raisin ice cream
4 tablespoons of nutmeg
2 small Papayas (papaws)
-about 3 inches in diameter

Directions:

First slice Papayas (papaws) in 1/2
half. Scoop out seeds with a spoon.

Place the 4 halves up right in the
center of their own desert plates.

Next add a large scope of ice cream
in he center of each Papaya (papaw).

Finally, pour the warm caramel over
the ice cream and around the papaya
(papaw). Dust with nutmeg and serve
immediately

Serves 4

Banana Fritters

Ingredients:

3 bananas
1/3 cup of milk
1/2 grated nutmeg
6 tablespoons of flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:

Crush the bananas until they are creamed.
Combine together the flour, baking powder
with the sugar and nutmeg.

Add the milk with bananas and mix. Dip a
large spoon into the oil and spoon scoop
batter into frying pan.

Deep fry in a frying pan until brown and
crisp on the edges. Drain on paper towel
a nd serve.

Cherry Drink

Ingredients:

1 lime (lemon)
1/4 cup of sugar
2 1/2 quart of water
1/4 cup of red syrup
1 quart ripe Jamaican cherries

Directions:

First puree cherry in blender and pour
through strainer into container.

Keep the juice and discard the pulp in
the strainer now Squeeze lime in juice
then add the syrup and mix.

Note: based on your taste add more or
less sugar taste Best served with the
crushed ice.

Serves 6 to 8

Carrot Juice

Ingredients:

5 cups of water
2 pounds of carrots
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of condensed milk
1 teaspoon finely grated nutmeg

METHOD:

Scrape the outer skin of carrots. Cut
carrots into chunks then blend (puree)
in a blender.

Pour through strainer into container
Keep juice & discard pulp in strainer.

Add condensed milk and vanilla and mix
(add more or less condensed milk based
on your taste).

Sprinkle the nutmeg on top of juice and
mix lightly. Serve with crushed ice.
