CONCORD CREAM

Ingredients:

2/3 cup of heavy cream
1 tablespoon of sour cream
3 teaspoons La Grenade Liqueur
3 oz. Morne Delice Nutmeg Syrup

Directions:

Place an empty bowl and beater in
the refrigerator and let it chill
until its very cold.

Now add the ingredients except the
nutmeg syrup. Switch the beater on
medium speed and beat together.

Add the Morne Delice Nutmeg Syrup
and beat for about 3 minutes till
soft peaks form.

Serve this delicious dessert with
sweet potatoe nutmeg pie and some
bread pudding.

NUTMEG BRIGADIER

Ingredients:

8 ounces of club soda
2 tablespoons cool cocktails
4 tablespoons De LaGrenade Liqueur

Preparations:

First combine all of the ingredients and
add the cracked ice and stir. When ready
to serve add a twist of lime.

Nutmeg Ice Cream

Ingredients:

3 large eggs
3/4 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cups of milk
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
1 1/2 cups of cream (heavy)
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
-(freshly grated)

Directions:

First place the milk and the heavy cream
in a saucepan then bring to a boil. whisk
together in a bowl the eggs, sugar, salt,
nutmeg and the vanilla,

Next whisk 1/2 a cup of the milk mixture
right in the egg mixture, and whisk the
mixture into the remaining milk mixture.

Over moderate heat cook custard, with a
wooden spatula stirring constantly till
on a candy thermoneter registers 175 degrees F.

Now transfer the custard to a metal bowl
and set in a larger bowl of ice and cold
water and stir it until it is chilled.

Note: According to the manufacturer's
instructions Freeze the custard in an
ice-cream freezer.
